Baahubali's Sword is one of the main weapons of the Baahubali franchise, used by Amarendra Baahubali and, later, Mahendra Baahubali.
History[]
Baahubali's Sword was used in the Mahishmati-Kalakeya Battle by Amarendra, the tour of Mahishmati that Amarendra and Kattappa went on, as well as the Pindari attack on Kunthala. Amarendra used it even after he was banished from the Palace of Mahishmati. Amarendra last wielded the sword just minutes before his death.
After Amarendra's death, his sword was laid to rest in a pile of sindoor powder in the Palace of Mahishmati.
During the Battle of the Valley of Stories, Kattappa brought along Baahubali's Sword and kept it in a sheath on his horse, Siddha. Kattappa called Siddha to him, but Mahendra took the sword and used it to behead Bhadra. When Kattappa started telling the story of Amarendra, Mahendra was holding the sword while listening. After listening to the story, he revolts against Bhallaladeva, who now has been King of Mahishmati for 25 years. Toward the end of Bhallaladeva and Baahubali's fight, Kattappa throws the sword to Mahendra. He stabs Bhalla in the leg and Devasena burns him alive.
Physical Appearance[]
The blade of the sword is made of iron and the handle is gold. At the base of the handle is a miniature horse bust.
