The plot of the books totally contradicts the movie. Bijjaladeva gets right arm cripplied, even though his left arm is crippled in the films. Also, the whole reason he is angry because he was passed over due to his disability, but he got his arm crippled after his brother got the throne

Theory: Sakithan is the slave who drops the rope while raising Bhallaladeva's statue on his birthday celebration - and the one who recognizes Baahubali and says his name. Sakithan is saved by Amarendra Baahubali who jumps after him and lifts him up (with help) with a rope; after years of enslavement for treason he is "saved" again when Mahendra Baahubali catches the rope he drops and lifts him back up. Bonus: Bhalla pulls up Sakithan by rope; then Sakithan pulls up Bhalla's statue by rope. Both times Baahubali shows mercy over punishment to Sakithan.
